The Markham Group of Artists was founded in 1981 to facilitate and promote visual arts in the Markham Area.
Founded by Pat Wheeler in 1981 and incorporated on April 16th 2012, the MGA includes artists from beginners to professionals working in a variety of media and styles.

Show Sitting Policy
Members submitting artwork to gallery shows are required to schedule a show sitting time. The show team is not responsible for finding replacement sitters if the member chooses not to sit the show. Failure to sit a show can result in being barred from future shows. If you have an emergency please speak to the show director.
Zero Tolerance Policy
The Markham Group of Artists is committed to supporting a culture of respect and well-being for our Members by ensuring they have a safe and respectful environment.
To foster this, MGA has zero tolerance for abusive behaviour towards our members.
